Adding a New Page to Your Menu
It is possible to add new pages to your menu yourself. For this, go to ‘Appearance, Menus’ in your WordPress menu1. You will now see an overview of your current menu structure and all your pages that you can add to the menu2.
To add a new page to your menu, search for the page you want to add on the left side of the page. Then click the ‘Add to menu’ button3. The selected page will then appear in the menu structure. By dragging, you can now assign a position to the menu item. You can also set it as a menu item under another menu item to create a drop-down menu4.
Once you’ve made all the adjustments to your menu, you can save it using the blue ‘Save Menu’ button5. Afterward, the menu on your website will be updated.
Removing Pages from Your Menu
You can remove existing menu items so they no longer appear in your website’s menu structure. For this, go to ‘Appearance, Menus’ in your WordPress menu1. You will now see your current menu structure with all the pages in it2.
Search for the page you’d like to remove from the menu and open it by clicking on the arrow3. You will now have the option to remove this page from the menu structure4. Once you’ve made all the adjustments to your menu, you can save it using the blue ‘Save Menu’ button5. Afterward, the menu on your website will be updated.
